Truck & Trailer MOT Preparation
S&P Garages are able to carry out the necessary preparation on your trucks and trailers to get them through their annual MOT test first time, every year.
As well as carrying out the preparation, we book the vehicles into the testing station for you and take the vehicles to the testing station for you as well.
About the test
Lorries and buses (including coaches) must be tested each year. The first test should be 12 months after the vehicle was first registered with DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency). Trailers must be tested one year after they were first sold or supplied.
Truck Wheel Alignment
Does your truck pull to one side whilst steering in a straight line?

These can be signs that your wheel alignment need to be looked at, poor alignment can affect the life of your tyres and also the fuel consumption of your truck which has obvious impact on overheads of your business.
At S&P Garage we use specialist equipment to check and make any necessary adjustments to the wheel alignment of your truck.
It is a fast and inexpensive service which will pro-long the life of your tyres, improve fuel consumption and the over all safety and comfort of your truck.
Truck Tachograph Testing
Our state of the art tachograph enables us to carry out tachograph calibrations on both digital and analogue systems.
As well as being able to carry out calibrations, our fully qualified tachograph engineers are able to fit tachograph systems to any vehicle capable of having one and also diagnose and repair any faults with current systems fitted to any vehicle.
Truck Warranty Work
S&P Garages are a Mercedes-Benz approved Truck Repairer, this means if you have a fleet of Trucks or just one, we can carry out approved repairs and warranty work.

This means you can rest assured that your truck is covered for any failure caused by a manufacturing fault during the warranty period.
Truck Maintenance Contract
Many businesses benefit from the Mercedes-Benz repair and maintenance (R&M) contracts that Mercedes-Benz offer.
This allows you to take advantage of a tailor made maintenance package to suit your needs, covering MOT's and anything else you might need such as wear and tear components, tyres, ancillary equipment, etc.
If you have a maintenance contract with Mercedes-Benz, S&P Garages can carry out the maintenance within your contract and submit claims directly to Mercedes-Benz on your behalf.

At S&P Garages we have the latest state of the art Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment directly from the manufacturer.
Mercedes-Benz STAR diagnostics, coupled with our Mercedes-Benz fully trained technicians are capable of diagnosing any faults, big or small with any Mercedes-Benz truck. We have two Mercedes-Benz STAR diagnostic computers enabling us to quickly and efficiently get your vehicle back on the road.
